Heal, stay active, stay well.
Oakpark Physiotherapy helps people recover from pain, injuries and movement limitations through evidence based physiotherapy. The mission is simple: help you heal, stay active, and reduce the risk of future injuries with personalized care built around your own goals.
Care built around your goals.
Every patient has a unique story. We take time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history and daily activities before writing a treatment plan. Depending on what you need, your care may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, rehabilitation programs and patient education.
Hands-on physiotherapy

Physiotherapy
A regulated profession that restores movement, reduces pain and improves function after injury, surgery or a condition affecting muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments or nerves. Your assessment comes first, then a rehabilitation program matched to your condition and your goals.
Sports injury rehabilitation
Muscle strains, ligament sprains, tendon injuries and overuse injuries, treated so you return to your sport rather than stop playing it. Treatment combines manual therapy with progressive exercise and injury prevention work.
Home physiotherapy
Physiotherapy delivered at home for patients across Oakville, River Oaks, River Glen and nearby communities, for the times when travelling to a clinic is the thing standing in the way of treatment.
Advanced therapies
Shockwave therapy
Acoustic waves directed into muscle, tendon or ligament to break down calcification and scar tissue, improve circulation and restart healing, without surgery or injections.

Class IV laser therapy
Advanced Class IV laser applied over an injury to reduce inflammation, relieve acute and chronic pain, and accelerate the body's own repair process.
Custom orthotics and bracing
Custom orthotics and custom bracing prescribed as part of a rehabilitation plan, to improve mobility, take load off an injured joint and support the way you actually move.
Getting started
Less to sort out first.
WSIB billed direct
For approved WSIB claims we bill WSIB directly for all authorized treatment, so there is no out of pocket cost for approved physiotherapy services.
Book an appointmentForms 6, 7 and 8 handled
Our administrative team coordinates the WSIB documentation with you and keeps the progress reporting current, so treatment authorization does not lapse part way through recovery.
Ask about WSIBA planned return to work
Return to work is phased and planned with your employer, with job specific conditioning and work simulation built into the program rather than bolted on at the end.
Book an appointmentEvening and Saturday times
Tuesday and Thursday run into the evening and we are open on Saturday, so treatment fits around a working week rather than the other way round.
See our hoursWho we are
One physiotherapist, start to finish.
Physiotherapist Azmina Moosa provides one on one care with compassion, professionalism and a patient first approach. She believes successful rehabilitation combines clinical expertise with education and active participation, so rather than treating symptoms alone she helps patients understand the cause of their condition, explains every stage of recovery, and teaches practical strategies that support long term health.

Azmina Moosa
Registered PhysiotherapistThe physiotherapist who assesses you is the physiotherapist who treats you. Every patient receives one on one attention, a comprehensive assessment, and a treatment plan tailored to their condition, lifestyle and goals.
Assessment before treatment
How care starts hereNo two rehabilitation plans are the same. We look for the factors contributing to pain, stiffness, weakness or movement limitation before recommending a program, so the plan reflects your health history, activity level and long term goals.
Serving Oakville
Where we workOakpark Physiotherapy serves individuals and families throughout Oakville, including River Oaks and River Glen, and patients across Halton Region. Patients of all ages are welcome, whether the goal is less pain, better mobility, recovery from an injury or simply staying active.

A few of the 13 reviews, in the patients' own words.
I visited physiotherapist - Azmina Moosa for my lower back pain, and the results were excellent. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and explained each step clearly. My pain improved significantly after couple of sessions. She is also flexible with timings and tried her best to accommodate me. Highly recommend.
Azmina is very knowledgeable and friendly. Felt much better after one visit. Highly recommend her! It is great that she is the one assessing and treating patients directly. Hard to find that kind of practitioner these days.
Absolutely amazing experience. I came with knee injury and was feeling better after very first treatment. Appreciate recommendation for home exercise.
